Existential Solitude

Existential Solitude

describes the idea that each individual ultimately experiences reality alone within their own mind.

Once an abstract concept, it gradually became a lens through which I came to understand and accept my own solitude.

The 7th of october war brought me to a confrontation of trauma and a period of rapid personal change. during which I often felt distant from my surroundings.

Through my photographs, I began to recognize the same existential solitude in others.

Yet in the act of photographing them, something else surfaced. For a brief moment, a connection appeared. Whether fully conscious of it or not, in that moment, neither of us felt entirely alone.
